Caressing time
I dipped into the manga/comic book/graphic novel universe for three weeks and happened upon some truly fascinating reads including:
- Birth of a Nation by Aaron McGrudder and Reginald Hudlin
- Shortcomings by Adrian Tomine
- Embroideries by Marjane Satrapi
- Brownsville by Neil Kleid and Jake Allen
- American Born Chinese by Gene Luen Yang
- King Volume 3 by Ho Che Anderson
- The Essential Guide to World Comics by Tom Pilcher and Brad Brooks
- Pictures and Words by Roanne Bell and Mark Sinclair
- An Anthology of Graphic Fiction, Cartoons and True Stories by Ivan Brunetti
- Barefoot Gen: A Cartoon Story of Hiroshima by Keiji Nakazawa
Good news, Persepolis. SPLAT was splendid!
